Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Financial Reporting & Controls Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the month-end closing process, performing accounts reconciliations and analysis and supporting the team for reporting financial statements to Management. The financial analyst is also responsible for supporting the implementation of internal controls.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE

  • Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and procedures;
  • Prepare monthly analysis of consolidated and non-consolidated balance sheet and income statement accounts;
  • Update monthly continuity schedules;
  • Prepare journal entries for multiple entities;
  • Participate in monthly financial and management reporting;
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve mismatches;
  • Develop new analysis to ensure accuracy of data
  • Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
  • Develop and maintain accurate process documentation
  • Ensure internal controls are applied as documented
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information for external auditors
  • Support business partners in providing financial information or analysis as needed
  • Special projects and other various queries
