PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year college degree in business-related field (i.e., finance, accounting). MBA, a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related work or internship experience, preferred
  • Experience with accounting and financial reporting tools such as Hyperion Essbase, NetSuite, etc., is a plus

Essential functions:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Capture and analyze data from multiple sources and assist in the development of financial reporting.
  • Work with leaders to define KPIs, monitor performance against KPIs, and adjust KPIs to optimize and enhance the predictability of operational and financial results.
  • Develop and update models that are closely linked to the operating metrics of the organization.
  • Monitor, analyze company performance, and provide variance analysis through monthly and quarterly financial reporting duties.
  • Work with various operating business leaders during the forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Work with and provide support to various operators to facilitate timely and accurate information.
  • Monthly presentation preparation of financial performance for Leadership and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Complete other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed to assist management.

SKILLS:

The required skills enable the Financial Analyst to efficiently gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to support business decisions. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is essential for creating accurate forecasts and budgets. ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s financial health by providing detailed analysis and insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position involves evaluating financial data, preparing reports, and forecasting future financial performance to guide budgeting and investment activities. The analyst will collaborate closely with various departments to understand financial trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. By interpreting complex financial information, the Financial Analyst ensures that leadership has accurate and timely data to make informed business decisions. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company’s long-term financial stability and growth by delivering actionable financial intelligence.
Position type and expected hours of work: Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with an hour lunch break. Overtime is occasionally necessary.
Summary: We are now hiring an FP&A financial analyst to join our growing company and finance team. This role will report directly to the VP of FP&A and play an important role in analyzing the financial health of the organization and assisting in developing financial plans to support the company’s strategy. The Financial Analyst will be involved in annual planning, monthly forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, variance analysis, and participating in various ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Competency:
