Job Summary Rocket55 is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our finance team during a period of rapid growth and transformation. This position will play a hands-on role in delivering accurate, timely financial data and insights that enable decision-making across the organization. This role does not have direct reports and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will manage day-to-day financial reporting, analyze performance trends, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and help improve the visibility of key financial metrics for senior leadership. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, curious, and eager to grow within the finance function of a dynamic marketing agency. Confidentiality, accuracy, and strong time management are essential. Job duties may evolve based on business needs. Requirements Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers for review by the CFO and leadership team. Conduct variance analyses on revenue, expenses, and profitability to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and validating data accuracy. Budgeting, Forecasting & Modeling Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasts. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, cash flow, and operational scenarios. Track departmental spending versus budget and alert leaders to variances. Data & Systems Support Perform high-volume data entry and journal entry management in QuickBooks Online to support accurate financial reporting. Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with department leads to collect and interpret data for financial analysis. Help identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and processes. Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within QuickBooks Online. Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide support during audits and tax preparation as needed. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting (experience in a marketing agency or fast-paced environment preferred). Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts). Key Skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with journal entry preparation and data entry in QuickBooks Online Ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset Excellent time management and organizational skills Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000 - depending on experience and qualifications.
