The Right Profile We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Financial Analyst / Senior Analyst to take ownership of accounting and bookkeeping for a specific legal entity within our global group. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet, supporting regulatory and statutory reporting, and driving reconciliations across financial and operational data. You will work closely with Finance, Data, and Operations teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that combines structured processes with some manual workflows. Exposure to international finance operations (especially Hong Kong, Australia, or Singapore) will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping: Own end-to-end bookkeeping for the assigned entity/country. Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Prepare and review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet. Manage accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and expense classifications. Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records. Regulatory Reporting & Audit Support Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports in line with local requirements. Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements. Liaise with external auditors and provide required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory obligations. Reconciliations & Data Integrity Perform monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, client funds, intercompany balances, and ledger accounts. Partner with Data teams to reconcile revenue, transactions, fees, wallet movements, and operational datasets. nvestigate discrepancies and drive resolution across teams. 4. Financial Operations & Process Improvement Ensure high accuracy in a partially manual accounting environment. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Improve documentation, workflows, and internal controls. Contribute to enhancing reporting consistency, scalability, and audit readiness. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA is a plus). 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting/bookkeeping. Strong understanding of financial statements and reconciliation processes. Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and accounting systems. Experience working with large datasets and manual reconciliations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. High ownership and ability to work independently. Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
