INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE:

Grace Eyre Foundation is looking for a proactive and skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This standalone role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our COO and Finance Team, driving financial insight and strategic planning across the organisation. If you’re confident working independently, thrive on data-driven decision-making, and want to make a meaningful impact in a values-led charity, we’d love to hear from you.

BRIEF OUTLINE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting into the COO, you’ll lead financial planning and analysis across Grace Eyre, including budgeting, forecasting, and supporting contract tenders and renewals. Your insights will guide Directors and senior leaders, helping shape our financial strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering financial modelling and commercial analytics
  • Supporting budget setting and reforecasting
  • Advising on pricing strategies and evaluating new opportunities
  • Producing clear, accessible financial reports and supporting management to understand their finances
  • Collaborating across teams to support data strategy and reporting

This is a newly created standalone position offered on a 6-month fixed-term basis, after which the role’s impact and future will be reviewed.
Qualifications: CFA preferred, or qualified accountant (CIPFA) / relevant finance degree.
Essential Skills: Strong analytical ability, clear communication, initiative, and problem-solving.
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: No applicant for employment or employee will be treated less favourably than another on grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, marriage & civil partnership or pregnancy & maternity, and we encourage applications from people with learning disabilities or identify with being on the autistic spectrum/neurodiverse.
