WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to ensure the financial integrity of our hotel by supporting the Finical Manager with auditing, compliance, and financial reporting. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial processes, from account reconciliations to managing service charges and tax audits. The ideal candidate has, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial data to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

SPECIFICALLY, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Analyze revenue and expenses to ensure they align with the budget and forecast.
  • Review hotel expenses to ensure proper coding and adherence to the budget.
  • Work with department heads to control costs and find opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Track and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and receipts.
  • Follow up on outstanding guest charges or uncollected payments.
  • Ensure accurate data entry for all transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.).
  • Communicate financial information effectively to management for decision-making.
  • Oversee daily cash and ensure cash is properly handled and reconciled
