Provide financial analysis and reporting for actual vs budget and prior year performance. Conduct financial analysis projects and statistical studies. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all divisions and identify trends. BE THE ISLAND GUIDE Prepare annual budgeting and reforecast process for one of the company’s major profit divisions by working with the relevant Operations team to budget for the division P&L with direction from FP&A Manager and/or VP of Finance Overall responsibilities will include analysis and reporting on divisional financial performance, (including expense and cost of goods sold) and other costs relevant to the business supporting for accuracy Development of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts Preparation of presentations and analysis for senior management budget reviews Preparation of quarterly/annual financial reports and schedules provided to management and parent company Prepare and analyze daily sales reports for the divisions and identify trends Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly sales and other reports Prepare, analyze, and review monthly actuals vs budget including variances actuals vs budget/reforecast Development of models for budgeting, forecasting, 3-year plan as well as other ad hoc analysis Create financial analysis tools and processes Implementing, coordinating, and contributing to other projects that require financial review Supports process improvement projects to update transactional, financial, and reporting processes Development of budgeting tools, systems, and processes Supports ad hoc reports and analytical projects as requested Specialized assignments related to financial analysis of new projects and or ventures ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major. 1 - 4 years in financial analysis Excellent computer skills, incl. MS Office (including advanced Excel), PowerPoint, Power BI. 1 - 2 years in a retail preferred; alternatively other direct-to-consumer experience preferred Experience with ERP Financial Systems (SAP preferred) Experience with Reporting tools Experience with Budgeting tools preferred Good understanding and experience with budgeting, financial, & reporting systems Expert analytical skills and good attention to detail Ability to multi-task and quickly switch between open projects Experience managing and manipulating large amounts of complex data Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
