We are looking for Financial Analyst to join our team

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant university degree or college diploma combined with two years of work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods
  • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Great Plains would be an asset

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily reconciliations and cash receipt entries
  • Update accounts payables and receivables, as well as prepare invoices
  • Complete contract set up in dedicated Contract management software
  • Compile and distribute daily management reports
  • Assist with auditing transactions and handling any deficiencies including requesting updated documentation
  • Satisfy customer service inquiries including internal department queries
  • Support senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Additional opportunities/ responsibilities may become available as the company grows
  • Assist other tasks and duties as required
