POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical person who excels in telling a story with data? In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and forecasting activities that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, AP/AR, and senior leadership to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while delivering actionable insights to drive business performance. We’re looking for an individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial data and develop models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and investigate unexpected variances or trends.
  • Reconcile the general ledger to subledgers and perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the operations team on inventory accounting, including stock counts, adjustments, and valuation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and support internal and external audits.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to help improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
