Position Overview: The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing various weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports, including, but not limited to, reconciliation of investments, management of cash position, concentration, and scorecard metrics. This role will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and support the Credit Union’s internal and external financial reporting processes and audits.

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation and maintenance of all Board and Committee financial reports such as concentration, liquidity scorecard, and delinquency
- Monitor Credit Union’s cash vs borrowing position
- Assist in compiling data for and creating the Credit Union’s Call Report, annual budget forecast and any ad hoc forecast requested
- Maintain Credit Union’s monthly forecast updated
- Supports the Accounting department by completing more complex reconciliations, such as those for investments and allowance for loan losses
- Performs profitability analysis of Credit Union’s products, services, and departments
- Participate in all regulatory exams and internal audits
- Responsible for preparation and maintenance of ALCO and MALCO documentation and minutes
- Successfully reconcile investment portfolio and update monthly reporting and pledging of securities
- Compile and complete quarterly FR 2900 and provide to appropriate parties for review
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation, quarterly regulatory reports, and annual financial statement audits
- Compile quarterly peer comparison analysis and ALM quarterly documentation and management
- Assist with system rate updates
- Identify variance to expected results for all generated reports and report findings
