The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, managing, and reviewing budgets for grant proposals and funded projects. This role requires close collaboration with clients, grant writers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial planning and compliance with funding requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Budget Development: Prepare detailed budgets for grant proposals, ensuring alignment with project goals and funder guidelines. Collaborate with grant writers and clients to ensure accurate cost projections. Financial Analysis: Analyze project expenses and funding requirements to ensure financial feasibility. Provide recommendations for cost adjustments and optimization. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all budgets comply with funder regulations and organizational policies. Assist clients with budget reporting and funder-specific financial requirements. Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to clients and team members on budget preparation and compliance. Support clients in understanding financial aspects of grants, including indirect costs and matching funds. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in grant budgeting, financial analysis, or related roles. Proficiency in financial management tools and software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. HRSA experience preferred.
