Workforce Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Financial Analyst to assist a local valued client.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree or College Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years of business experience in a similar position preferably in an industrial setting
  • Good knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft, Excel) and Integrated software system (SAP is an asset)
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Good Organizational and communications skills
  • Teamwork in a collaborative environment
  • Adaptability
  • Valid G class driver’s licence and reliable transportation is required

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and support the monthly cost review package, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with operating departments to analyze and review costs, providing meaningful insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual forecasts, as well as the budgeting process.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance cost analysis reports while generating relevant financial analysis.
  • Complete monthly and annual government statistical filings and tax reporting requirements.
  • Support preparation of financial models for investment evaluations and approvals.
  • Assist the finance team in maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance reporting.
  • Uphold and promote company policies and regulations, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.
