Responsibilities

The Accounting Technician is responsible for managing the financial and bookkeeping operations of the dental practice, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely billing, and compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the practices financial health by handling accounts receivable/payable, payroll, insurance claims, and financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:·

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations·
  • Track and report cash flow and KPIs·
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable·
  • Prepare CIS returns· Run monthly payroll for salaried staff,
  • contractors and self-employed workers·
  • Track project P&Ls and support commercial reporting·
  • Oversee financial compliance,
  • HMRC obligations and company secretarial tasks·
  • Payment scheduling, and reconciliation in QuickBooks·
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy with partners
