Financial and Regulatory Reporting function is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, for their area, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control frameworks.

SKILLS

  • Czech and English fluently
  • Basic knowledge of accounting (both Czech rules as well as IFRS), tax and regulatory requirements
  • Very good PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). MS Access advantage
  • University degree in economics (or similar) or at least 5 year experience in Finance/Banking
  • Ability to work in team
  • Flexibility
  • Communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Managing accounting and financial risk and providing advice and guidance on strategic initiatives (driven by internal policies and/or external regulation) and new products that impact the entities /processes /utilities with their remit
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis and representing their respective function in relevant internal and external fora
  • Developing innovative business solutions and providing strategic advice and guidance to support the execution of business strategy, mitigation of risks and achievement of the bank’s/regions’/Division’s objectives
  • Cooperate on the preparation of IFRS and HGB statements for the parent company according to the current schedule and requirements, including subsequent answering of questions and comments
  • Cooperate on the preparation of risk reports for the parent company according to the current schedule and requirements, including subsequent answering of questions and comments
  • Cooperate on the preparation of reports for the Czech Statistical Office
  • Cooperate with the Accounts Payable Clark position, especially when verifying invoices and payments
  • Process correspondence of the Finance department
  • Cooperate with the external auditor during the audit of the bank’s statutory statements, preparation of supporting materials, answering questions and communicating the auditor’s questions within the bank
  • Communicate with all internal partners on a local and global level
