This is the broad job description of the job profile. Definitive job description should be reviewed and discussed between you and your manager. To lead the team in preparation of financial and regulatory reports to Group, BNM, PIDM and other regulatory authorities; To ensure compliance with accounting standards (i.e., IFRS & MFRS), policies and regulatory guidelines and assist Unit Head to implement changes in accounting standards; To liaise with external bankers, business units and regulators on clarifications and to provide additional information as and when required; To assist Unit Head in the New Product Approval Process and provide accounting and regulatory advisory in relation to transactions and products; To prepare and present results of strategic data analyses and researches made from financial reports and market trends to senior management; and To identify, streamline and automating process for improvements. Degree / Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MICPA) / finance / economics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards, with experience in financial modeling and reporting Proactive and results-driven, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy What we offer: Competitive base salary.
