Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

We have an exciting opportunity for Financial Assessment Officers to join our Adult Social Care Financial Assessment Team at BCP Council. The main purposes are to work with Adult Social Care practitioners to support clients holistically and to ensure those who are in receipt of chargeable Adult Social Care services are financially assessed to determine how much they should pay towards their care.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To process financial assessment applications and correspondence accurately and efficiently, in accordance with policy and statutory requirements.
To communicate effectively with clients (or their representatives) through visits or by telephone, email, or letter and to liaise with other council departments or external agencies as required.
