JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Assistant to support our Financial Manager with daily accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must have solid experience with QuickBooks and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. QUALIFICATIONS:

-Proven experience using QuickBooks (desktop or online)
-Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
-Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
-Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable· – Enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks with high accuracy
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes
  • Maintain organized records and assist with document preparation for audits
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed
  • Perform general administrative and clerical support for the finance department

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

· Perform day-to-day accounting tasks (AP/AR, data entry, reconciliation)
· Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
· Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements
· Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking
· Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures
· Support internal audits and documentation needs
· Communicate with vendors and internal departments
· Provide general admin and clerical support to the Financial Manager
