Pylon Electronics Inc. is opening a NEW laboratory in Montreal this Fall, in our 70th anniversary! We are seeking an individual with the skills and qualifications to fill a full-time position as a Financial Associate. The successful candidate must be able to obtain an Industrial Security Clearance of Secret Level II.
Pylon Electronics Inc. is an ISO 17025-certified calibration facility supporting electronic and physical test equipment and is one of the largest Canadian Owned Calibration Laboratories. Pylon Electronics has a solid reputation in the repair and calibration of measuring instruments. We currently have six laboratories located in Ottawa (ON), Toronto (ON), Dartmouth (NS), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB), and Richmond (BC). The new lab opening in Montreal (QC) will give Pylon Electronics a presence in seven of Canada’s largest cities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with accounting software (GP and NetSuite preferred) and financial reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for data accuracy and process improvement? Join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a key role in managing post-sales financial operations and driving insights through financial analysis.

  • Post daily sales from our in-house software into Great Plains (GP) and NetSuite across multiple entities.
  • Reconcile daily sales between in-house software, GP, and NetSuite ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and update the shared collections file to reflect accurate customer balances, invoices, and payments.
  • Follow up on collections for assigned customer accounts.
  • Trace, record, and apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
  • Prepare monthly sales analysis reports and generate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Periodically reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger accounts.
