Our Client is a global leader in distribution solutions meeting the needs of such industries as food, pharma, personal care and industrial. They are searching for a Financial Business Analyst to join them for a 12 month contract assignment. The role will sit with the IT Group but the candidate will act as the Finance point person for the group in supporting the MS Dynamics 365 FO ERP implementation. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office located in Mississauga (Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesday) and 2 days WFH.
Reporting to the Business application Manager, the candidate will be working within the IT Group with a focus on the finance business function. The role will support the Finance organization across North America during the MS Dynamics 365 FO ERP implementation.

• Gather and document finance requirements in support of the MS D365 FO ERP implementation
• Support the Finance team during the MS D365 configuration, testing and cutover preparation
• Lead an execute testing scenarios for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets
• Provide functional support for AP invoice automation in MS D365
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, and contribute to process design documentation
• Ensure finance data accuracy
• Assist in identifying and implementing system improvements and process optimization
• Provide training to users from Finance team, create supporting documentation and job aids
• Work closely with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues
• Liaise closely with internal resources and External Consultants and communicate appropriately to all involved parties
