MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Qualifications: A Chartered Accountant with up-to-date IFRS requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years as a manager.You must have expertise in:1. Local and international financial regulations.2. Compliance audits and risk assessments.3. Financial controls and regulatory reporting.4 Stakeholder management, leadership, and people-management.

  • Ensure that Amrod complies with financial regulations and legal standards across multiple African countries.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement strong internal financial controls to protect company assets.
  • Lead financial risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and enforce compliance policies and frameworks.
  • Lead, mentor, train teams to drive compliance culture.
  • Manage performance of the team and promote employee engagement.

Amrod is seeking an experienced Financial Compliance Officer to join the finance team. Reporting to the Senior Financial Officer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing financial controls and, safeguarding Amrod’s assets while minimizing financial risks
