About the Role
As a Financial Consultant at Frontec Financial, you’ll support federal clients with a range of financial management services, including accounting operations, internal controls, ERP support, and audit readiness. This role combines day-to-day client interaction, financial analysis, documentation, and compliance support. You will also help translate financial data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions across agencies.

Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, or ERP support
• Strong understanding of GAO, FASAB, OMB, and Treasury standards
• Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with federal financial systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial operations, including accounting processes, reconciliations, and reporting
• Assist in implementing and enhancing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Momentum)
• Prepare high-quality deliverables and documentation for audits and financial reviews
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to support program goals
• Analyze financial data and produce reports and insights that inform decision-making
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal financial standards and procedures
• Assist in audit readiness and corrective action tracking as needed
