Description

A great UHY client is seeking a Financial Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience (not required), strong Excel skills (modeling/pivot tables/etc.), data mining experience, variance analysis experience, and at least 5 years of financial experience.
The Financial Consultant role is a hybrid role, with 2 or 3 days being onsite each week. This is a client direct hire position.

FINANCIAL CONSULTANT EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area.

    - Prior leadership or consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage complex projects that support decision-making and financial improvement.
  • Take responsibility for completing assignments and leading initiatives.
  • Lead individuals or teams on projects, developing plans and managing resources.
  • Define project scope, set objectives, and guide daily activities.
  • Facilitate or lead group projects and report progress to leadership.
  • Present findings and recommendations both in writing and verbally.
  • Develop work plans and execute them effectively.
  • Set priorities and monitor ongoing project progress.
  • Occasionally oversee other staff working on assignments.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct interviews and gather relevant data.

  • Evaluate alternative methods and assess cost/benefit.
