OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCIAL CONSULTANT FOR A 6-MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

About the Opportunity

  • Lead complex, end-to-end cash reconciliation processes across multiple systems and entities.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash application and AR balances.
  • Collaborate with Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate cash postings.
  • Design and implement internal controls to strengthen AR processes and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and audit standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify inefficiencies in AR workflows and recommend automation or process enhancements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline cash application and reconciliation procedures.
  • Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

About You

  • A minimum of 4 years industry experience as SFA
  • CPA or working towards designation is highly preferred
  • Solid US GAAP expertise with knowledge of financial statement preparation
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to research and escalate issues
  • Understanding of finance processes, internal controls, data requirements and analytical needs
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP or EPM application with advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to work with a variety of people in a team environment
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
