OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCIAL CONSULTANT FOR A 9-MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

About the Opportunity:

  • As an important member of our Finance team, you will:
  • Assist with the intercompany process, ensuring accurate reconciliation and settlement of intercompany balances.
  • Lead various balance sheet process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement) and note disclosure requirements to parent company, adhering to IFRS.
  • Liaise and coordinate internal, external & government audit requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

About You

  • CPA designation
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working in an Accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of consolidations and IFRS.
  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information/technical accounting matters to diverse audiences; enabling you to engage confidently with senior executives, accountants and colleagues
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and organizational agility.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-Driven: motivated by performance and are willing to go above and beyond to achieve objectives
  • Enthusiastic Self-Starter: proactive and energetic approach empowers to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Detail-Oriented: meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy and precision in all aspects of work

  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset.
