KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

The successful candidate will have:

  • Be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience
  • Have proven experience in a Financial Controller role
  • Have strong technical accounting and reporting skills
  • Be confident with Xero
  • Organised, strong attention to detail, strong excel and numeracy skills
  • Have excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Financial modelling skills / FP&A experience would be useful
  • International group experience (particularly with the US) would be highly desirable
  • Experience of working in an LLP/Partnership and/or professional services such as consulting/accountancy/law would be preferred
Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our London office on a 12 month fixed term basis, to support our Head of Accounts and CFO with a period of rapid scaling. This role will be key in helping the team manage the smooth running and day-to-day demands of our Accounts function across our international offices.
There is the opportunity for the duration of this contract to be extended based on business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Some notable responsibilities will include:

  • Closing month-end and other financial reporting
  • Leading the co-ordination of the forecasting process
  • Managing the payroll process, across our international offices
  • Overseeing compliance / filings and tax
  • Supporting the CFO and Head of Accounts to deliver system and process improvements
  • Support, manage and develop the junior Accounts team
