We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of financial management principles.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA) (Essential)
  • Extensive experience in a finance role up to Financial Controller level, in a manufacturing environment. (Essential)
  • Manufacturing Costing Analyst Experience (Essential)
  • Good understanding of Inter-Co pricing structures (Desirable)
  • Good understanding of the full range of financial and taxation reporting requirements. (Essential)
  • Extensive experience of managing budgets, forecasts, cashflow and capex requests (Essential)
  • IT skills to include Microsoft Office, including Excel to advanced level (Essential)
  • Good experience of using a computerised finance or ERP system (Essential)
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (“HFM”) software or similar (or willing to learn). (Desirable)
  • Experience of leading, managing and developing staff (Essential)
  • Presentation skills with experience of providing information to internal and external groups (Essential)
  • Good organisational and time-management skills (Essential)
  • Good business and commercial acumen (Essential)
  • Good documentation and report writing skills (Essential)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail (Essential)
