Job Description We are looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as compliance with Group internal control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management. You will support the Plant Manager as a trusted business partner within the Factory Leadership Teams (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects ) on a day-to-day basis as well as on a long-term strategic view. You will provide visibility around costs related to the plant processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring/updating of the forecast and controlling spend to ensure savings targets are achieved), as well as to ensure adherence to financial legal requirements and Rotork Accounting Standards. Operational Manage daily operations: cost accounting, inventory management, and revenue recognition. Lead month-end close, including key provisions and journal entries. Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts in line with Group deadlines. Analyse product-level gross margins to identify volume and mix drivers. Support monthly performance reviews with Operations, explaining variances. Partner with Operations to drive actions towards forecast and budget targets. Contribute to cost improvement initiatives and validate savings. Support inventory planning and control. Evaluate and monitor capital investment (capex) proposals. Control & Governance Maintain a strong control environment in line with Group policies. Research and resolve technical accounting matters. Act as key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings. Budgeting & Forecasting Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and challenge assumptions for forecasts and budgets. Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets within the Group consolidation system. Qualifications Professional finance qualification. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent finance-focused discipline (preferred). Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting or finance, including Big 4 exposure (preferred). Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and MS Office; Power Query / Power BI experience desirable; familiarity with multiple ERP systems. Experience with finance processes during ERP system implementations or transitions will be considered a plus Department: Finance
