Job Description The Financial Controller is directly accountable to the General Manager, and a key role in our hotels leadership team. You will oversee the hotel's financial performance, evaluating key performance indicators and advise department leaders how to meet, and exceed financial targets. The primary responsibilities of the role include: Overall management of budgeting, planning, and forecasting for the hotel, including analysis and reporting for monthly and yearly results. Monthly analysis and reporting of results, forecast, and P&L. Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory systems and standards. Provide appropriate training to hotel leaders & the finance team to ensure accuracy and financial integrity at all levels. Qualifications This role requires a specialised skill set, and will be a key strategic leader in the business. You must be able to demonstrate competence and expertise in financial processes of a hotels operations, and high level strategic thinking. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: Significant experience using hotel systems: Opera, Micros, Sun, PurchasePlus, Ready Workforce, Currency Select, Online Banking portals, and others as deemed necessary to support the performance of the hotel. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide high level analytical commentary. Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture. Additional Information What's in it for you?
