We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on finance professional to join the team at Wairakei Resort Taupō as our Financial Controller. This is a pivotal on-property role responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the resort, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making. You will play a key role in driving profitability, maintaining strong financial governance, and partnering with operational leaders across the business. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate production of financial reports, data, and P&L statements Prepare and deliver monthly forecasts and annual budgets Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall profitability Oversee the management agreement and owner corporation matters Provide strategic financial guidance to support operational decision-making Develop and support the Finance team to operate as confident business partners to the hotel leaders Qualifications Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial management role Strong knowledge of payroll, tax, superannuation, and compliance legislation Proven ability to lead, influence, and engage team Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (preferred) Previous experience within the hotel or hospitality industry (advantageous) Additional Information Why work for Accor?
