You will have end-to-end responsibility for the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting for Accor and ownership stakeholders. This includes oversight of budgeting, forecasting, payroll, statutory compliance, and financial controls, while providing insightful analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced hotel finance professional who combines technical excellence with commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style. You will actively support department heads with financial insight, strengthen systems and processes, and drive initiatives that enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to support financial strategy, performance, and decision-making Deliver accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting to Accor and ownership groups Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with legislative requirements Provide financial guidance on Management Agreements, Owners Corporation matters, and HMA compliance Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, controls, policies, and reporting processes Support department heads with financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insights to improve profitability Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies, WH&S obligations, and all relevant statutory and legislative requirements Qualifications What we are looking for: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline CA or CPA qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance obligations, and statutory reporting Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems; experience with Zambion, PurchasePlus, and SunSystems is highly regarded Sound understanding of taxation, superannuation, long service leave, and National Employment Standards High attention to detail, strong commercial mindset, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Willingness to undergo a State Police Check as part of the recruitment process Additional Information Why work for Accor?
