Financial Controller Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Group Finance team, with a focus on consolidated financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making across the Group. Working closely with finance teams across the countries within the Group, this role will contribute to the development and enhancement of Group-level reporting—providing both operational and strategic insights that guide management decisions. Responsibilities Prepare and deliver accurate, timely Group-level consolidated financial reporting, including consolidation of results from countries within the Group. Maintain and enhance consolidation and reporting processes, templates, and controls to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency. Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle at Group level, including variance analysis and reporting of key drivers to management. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and management decision-making. Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting, or Group reporting within a larger and/or international organisation. Relevant qualification (minimum: NQF7) Sound understanding of Group accounting principles and consolidation concepts – non negotiable Working knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting standards in financial reporting.
