JOB SUMMARY

Here at ALC Home Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and drives financial efficiency across all service lines. The Controller plays a key role in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies while providing strategic financial insight to senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with revenue control and financial reporting
  • Familiar with financial auditing
  • Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
  • Experience with cash and credit card reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills: proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all ALC services.
  • Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to improve performance.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance on bookkeeping practices to ensure accuracy in financial records.
