Description

❖ Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the office’s budget implementation.
  • Analyze office account operations with banks, including transfers and deductions.
  • Assist in preparing the required periodic reports related to financial period closings.
  • Support the preparation of the Authority’s final accounts and their submission to the relevant authorities.
  • Participate in reviewing tax procedures and submitting the Authority’s tax declarations.
  • Collaborate in responding to reports from the Audit Bureau, external auditors, and other oversight entities.
  • Review and audit the proper application of approved financial policies, systems, and procedures related to revenues, expenditures, and accounting operations, in accordance with the Federal Government Financial Procedures Manual.
  • Analyze and monitor reconciliations of bank accounts, balances, and daily transactions including transfers and deductions, as well as monitor and analyze the recording of revenues and expenditures in the office’s accounts.
  • Review financial and accounting transactions related to expenditures and ensure the correctness of accounting entries in accordance with approved standards.
  • Audit financial procedures related to employee payroll and follow up on their execution as per the approved procedures.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

❖ Requirements, Duties, and Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent field.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial laws, procedures, and systems applied in the Federal Government and by relevant oversight bodies.
  • Experience in government accounting or work experience in government entities applying federal financial laws and systems.
  • Possession of professional qualifications in accounting is preferred.
