Description
Description Lead the monthly close and forecasting processes, including annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning. Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial reports and performance expectations to both business unit and company leadership. Collaborate with business leaders to drive performance and achieve key financial metrics. Oversee the full accounting function, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams. Provide leadership in staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Manage corporate accounting operations and ensure accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities across multiple profit/loss centers. Ensure compliance with statutory, management, and cost accounting standards. Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and accuracy. Serve as a liaison with external auditors, tax authorities, customers, suppliers, and other key partners. Conduct annual reviews of internal controls (SOX-type assessments) to identify risks, address weaknesses, and uncover opportunities for improvement. Protect company assets by implementing and maintaining strong internal control frameworks.
