Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller to join our Group Finance team. This role is pivotal in managing the Group's capital management plan, overseeing capex budgeting, and maintaining rigorous cashflow forecasting across all Opcos. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, and the ability to operate effectively across a multi-entity investment holding structure. Responsibilities Serve as a key finance business partner to Opcos and Finance Heads, providing guidance and challenge on financial performance Partner with senior leadership on group strategy, financial planning, and decision-making, including budgets, forecasts, financial models, and long-term plans Develop and maintain the Group-wide capital management framework, including capex planning, capital allocation, and liquidity management Monitor rolling Group Cashflow Projection to ensure that it is robust and updated to facilitate decision-making for capital allocation Support treasury operations, including bank facilities, cash pooling, and foreign currency exposure management Appropriate finance support for any M&A activities Uphold strong financial governance and internal controls across the Group and Opcos, ensuring compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards Proactively identify and escalate financial risks, conflicts of interest, and governance gaps to the CFO and Board Oversee consolidated financial reporting and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with SFRS/IFRS and regulatory requirements Lead external audit processes and maintain effective relationships with auditors Develop and standardise financial policies, reporting frameworks, and procedures across the portfolio Tax optimisation for the Group, including review of structuring, transfer pricing, and compliance across jurisdictions Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisers, ensuring timely and accurate filings Act as a steward of the Group’s capital and financial reputation, including maintaining governance frameworks such as DOA Prepare management reports and board-ready financial packs and presentations Requirements The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits: Chartered Accountant qualification Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or a related discipline 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have Big 4 experience Demonstrated experience in a group finance, holding company, or multi-entity environment – private equity-backed or investment firm experience is an advantage Hands-on experience with capital management, capex planning, and cashflow modelling at a consolidated group level Exposure to Singapore financial reporting standards (SFRS/IFRS) and Singapore regulatory requirements Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Willing and able to travel regionally and internationally as required to support Opcos across the Group's portfolio Committed to being a hands-on business partner A natural leader who commands credibility and inspires confidence Thrives under pressure and maintains composure in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
