JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a deep understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in finance or accounting.
  • CPA designation
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and account analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to optimize cash flow management.
  • Implement and maintain accounting software systems, including QuickBooks to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounting Assistant on daily tasks including invoicing, data entry, bank reconciliations, and filing.
  • Review and verify financial transactions processed by the Accounting Assistant for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
  • Prepare reports for senior management that summarize financial performance and highlight key metrics.
