EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • At least 5 years Accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero preferred) and multi-currency consolidation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, as you’ll be partnering and working with senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • An ability to explain finance to non-finance individuals at all levels within the business.
  • A proactive and autonomous attitude with proven experience in streamlining processes.
  • Some people management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work in a dynamic, evolving business.
  • Any accounting qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) is highly desirable, however it is not essential.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a new role, created to support our ongoing growth and the increasing demand for our solutions. Our Financial Controller will take ownership of Dynarisk’s finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and strategic insights to support growth. This role combines hands-on financial management with leadership responsibilities, including oversight of a part-time bookkeeper and liaison with overseas subsidiaries, and will include both operational and some commercial aspects of Financial Control.
You will be a hands-on, proactive Financial Controller or Finance Manager within a fast-paced SME or startup, ideally within technology. You may be fully qualified,a finalist (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CA, CPA) or qualified by experience (QBE). You may be wanting a step up from your current position or you may already be a Financial Controller wanting a new challenge. This role is expected to grow alongside the business, offering potential for increased responsibility and career advancement for the right individual. It is an ideal opportunity to gain international experience also.
