Description

Our portfolio includes multi-entity accounting, HOA/owner statement reporting, and complex property operations. We’re seeking a Controller who thrives in this environment and can bring financial clarity and leadership to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting functions: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and monthly close.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of owner statements, HOA reporting, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts; provide financial analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls for compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors.
  • Identify and resolve backlogs (e.g., past-due invoices) to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
  • Partner with operations to align financial reporting with hospitality performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in hospitality, property management, or real estate accounting.
  • Skilled in multi-entity and HOA/owner accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Trak, Sage, or similar) and Excel.
  • Proven track record of improving processes and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Pay: $94,824.89 - $114,197.72 per year
