About the Company
Our client, a prominent distributor in the retail and wholesale industry is seeking to hire a l Controller to join their team for their Surrey office.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working with the Group CFO, the Controller will lead a team of 4–6 and oversee accounting functions including AP/AR, inventory, and reporting. This hands-on role combines day-to-day financial management with strategic planning and process improvement. Key responsibilities include budgeting, audits, cash flow, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics.
What you Bring
To qualify for this role, you must be a CPA with at least 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the wholesale or retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing accounting teams, along with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Oracle NetSuite.
The Offer
The role offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary of up to $130K, depending on experience.
