1. Financial Reporting

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and internal policies.
• Provide insights into financial performance and trends to management.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and identify variances, providing recommendations for adjustments.
• Assist in strategic planning by offering financial projections.

1. Accounting Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and financial records.

1. Internal Controls

• Implement and maintain internal control systems to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Regularly review financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct audits or liaise with external auditors.

1. Compliance

• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, corporate laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and other regulatory reports.

1. Team Management

• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure the team meets deadlines.
• Provide training to enhance team capabilities.

1. Cost Management

• Analyze and control operational costs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or performance.
• Review vendor and supplier contracts for cost-effectiveness.

1. Strategic Financial Planning

• Support executive leadership in decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Participate in mergers, acquisitions, or investment activities.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks, such as liquidity and credit risks.

1. Systems and Technology

• Oversee financial software systems and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Implement new technologies or software to streamline financial processes.

1. Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between the finance department and other departments or external stakeholders.
• Provide financial information and analysis to investors, board members, or other key stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,376.00-$114,291.96 per year
