One of the largest and longest‑standing media organizations in Greece: Financial Controller This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is passionate about using financial insights to drive business success. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving decision-making, and partnering with teams across the business to deliver sustainable growth. Responsibilities Lead budgeting and rolling forecast processes, improving accuracy and providing intra-month visibility on risks and opportunities Conduct variance analysis and monitor KPIs, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions to management Enhance cash flow management, working closely with accounting and operational teams to improve forecasts and reporting Implement cost control procedures, analyzing Opex and Capex absorption and ensuring alignment with stakeholders on financial risks and opportunities Support investment appraisals, developing business cases and board presentations, consolidating input from key stakeholders Act as a strategic business partner, evaluating new business propositions, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies to drive company performance University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Master’s degree (MSc) or professional qualification (ACCA, etc.) preferred At least 5 years of experience in a similar FP&A or Controlling role Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial models and improve forecasting accuracy Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to challenge processes and drive change Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing a small team Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office Suite; knowledge of ERP and reporting systems is desirable A proactive, results-driven mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment Competitive compensation package Career development and growth opportunities
