Financial Controller – Logistics & Data Analytics Focus - Mooresville, NC $150,000 – $200,000 base salary About the Role We are seeking a Financial Controller with a strong background in logistics, supply chain, and data analytics to oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution organization in the Mooresville area. This is a key leadership role that will partner closely with operations, logistics, and executive management to drive data-informed decisions and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and financial reporting. Lead monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Partner with logistics and operations teams to analyze costs, inventory, and supply chain efficiency. Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and predictive analytics models to support decision-making. Implement financial controls and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards. Lead and mentor accounting and finance staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership in manufacturing or logistics-driven environments. Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, or Tableau) and ERP systems. Demonstrated success in improving financial processes, controls, and operational alignment.
