JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller will play a key role and will be primarily responsible for accounting, tax management, external auditing, and maintaining and controlling production costs. This position is essential to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance, while supporting the Chief Financial Officer in their mandate.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in ERP accounting (EPICOR an asset) and payroll software (e.g.: Nethris, Employer D, Algo Design). Excellent knowledge of Excel (e.g. advanced search, pivot table).
  • Experience in costing and managing indirect taxes in Canada and the United States (asset).
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills. Thoroughness and attention to detail;
  • Results-oriented. Ability to work in a varied, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to learn, curiosity and business acumen.
