As a Financial Controller within the European Controlling team at Flora Food Group, you play a critical role in shaping financial excellence across the region. Based in Bangalore and working in a virtual, international setup, this role demands a true A‑player with exceptional technical expertise, communication skills, and leadership presence. In this role, success looks like; Leading financial control activities for a European region Owning Balance Sheet and P&L reporting, steering month‑end close, and delivering meaningful insights on overheads, cash flow, and business performance. Ensuring compliance and statutory excellence Managing local tax filings, statutory requirements, and audit coordination while ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and company policies. Partnering effectively with senior cross‑functional stakeholders Collaborating with Supply Chain, Treasury, Tax, Group Finance, and other teams, acting as a trusted finance advisor within a fully virtual, multi‑country environment. Driving process improvements and R2R transformation initiatives Enhancing financial systems and processes through initiatives such as balance sheet reconciliation improvements, VAT compliance support, and functional streamlining (e.g., FS in‑housing). Delivering strategic insights and creating leadership impact Articulating results, shaping financial narratives, challenging the status quo, and contributing to the growth and maturity of a high‑performing European Controlling organization.
