JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders.

  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Supervise payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks for efficient financial management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Ensure effective management of accounts receivable and cash flow.
  • Prepare reports for senior management that summarize financial performance and highlight key metrics.
