QUALIFICATIONS:

· CPA-Auditor designation (required)
· Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience
· Prior experience in investment accounting (required)
· Proven ability to manage and mentor accounting teams
· Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems a plus
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
· Strategic thinker who can manage high-level oversight while ensuring timely execution

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 5C

· Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities (investment holding companies)
· Review and approve financial statements prepared under Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Entities (“ASPE”)
· Oversee investment accounting, including tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of portfolio activity
· Ensure compliance with GST/QST, corporate tax filings, and year-end requirements (T5s, NR slips, etc.)
· Supervise and guide the Accounting Team
· Serve as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks
· Ensure robust internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements
· Lead system optimization initiatives in Sage Intacct
