This is a senior opportunity to contribute directly to the financial sustainability and strategic direction of schools, while leading consistent, best‑practice financial management and supporting system‑wide reform and transformation initiatives. As a key member of the Schools Operations Finance team, you will: * Lead consistent, accurate, and compliant financial operations across CET schools. * Support school budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring. * Ensure strong governance through effective financial controls, delegations, and risk management. * Oversee school financial reporting cycles and contribute to system‑level dashboards and reporting. * Coordinate audit processes and ensure compliance with AASB, ACNC, and CET requirements. * Provide leadership to school-facing finance teams and support Business Managers. * Build a high‑performance culture focused on capability development and continuous improvement. * Support system‑wide financial reform, sustainability initiatives, and strategic planning. * Champion alignment, simplification, and best‑practice financial management across schools. You Will Bring * Demonstrated expertise in school or multi‑site financial operations and reporting. * Proven experience leading finance teams and supporting diverse stakeholders. * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial reporting capability. * High‑level communication and relationship‑building skills. * The ability to lead change and support system transformation through practical, solutions‑focused leadership. Qualifications Required * Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance. * CA or CPA membership (or working towards). * Accreditation A to work in Catholic Education. * Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP). * Satisfactory National Police Check. Desirable * Experience in school finance, not‑for‑profit, or public sector environments. * Strong understanding of AASB and ACNC standards and funding compliance. * Experience using TechnologyOne or similar ERP systems.
