Silverflow is the world’s first pure cloud-native card-network processor. We are on a mission to convince an industry that has run on 40-year-old systems that a better way really exists, scale a high-throughput platform across multiple regulatory regimes, and stay permanently ahead of scheme changes.
Founded in 2019 by payments veterans Anne Willem de Vries, Paul Buying and Robert Kraal, the company is still led by its creators and backed by venture capitalists.
Silverflow currently consists of 80+ colleagues, representing 30 nationalities, and we’re planning to grow to a team of 120 in the next two years.

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Financial Controller to join our growing team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to take on a broad role in shaping and scaling the finance function at Silverflow, a fast-growing international payments processing company with entities in the Netherlands, UK, and US.
Since our successful Series A, we’ve completed our first group audit and are now gearing up for international expansion, a new ISAE 3402 audit, and potential finance system upgrades. As part of our finance team, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of financial operations, contributing directly to the growth of our global business. You will work closely with our Finance Lead and CFO, learning from experienced leaders while taking ownership of your own projects and responsibilities.
You will be a key contributor within our finance team, the central hub for how money moves through the company. We look after financial operations, reporting, monthly investor updates and support teams across the company with budgeting, pricing and client needs. In addition to your core finance responsibilities, you will collaborate across departments (including HR, Sales and Account Management) and work with business analysts, data engineers and developers to build dashboards and data flows that support our revenue tracking, audit processes and actionable insights for our customers.

We’re committed to continuously learning and improving, with a strong focus on building a scalable, efficient finance function that grows with the business.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting activities
• Working with external accountants on local compliance, payroll, and tax filings (NL, UK, and US)
• Assisting in preparing consolidated financial statements and investor reporting
• Maintaining accounting records and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Preparing and reviewing payment runs, including payroll support
• Helping coordinate audits (statutory, group, and ISAE 3402)
• Project-based and scaling work:
• Contributing to the rollout of new tooling (e.g. spend management, forecasting, accounting software migration)
• Supporting the US entity setup and ongoing financial operations
• Helping to define internal controls and best practices as the company prepares for further audits and funding rounds
• Collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Product, Data Engineering and Security on financial controls and compliance (SOC2, ISAE 3402)
