Are you a dynamic finance leader with deep experience in transactional processes, control environments, and people leadership? Henry Schein, a global leader in healthcare solutions, is seeking an ANZ Transaction & Process Controller to oversee our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand, while strengthening our internal controls and driving process excellence. This highly visible role partners across Finance, Operations, Audit and Senior Leadership, and is ideal for a Financial Controller ready to step into a broader leadership position with pathways into FP&A or future CFO roles. About the Role As the ANZ Transaction & Process Controller, you will lead the end‑to‑end management of all transactional finance operations across the region. You will ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance across AR, AP, Payroll, Banking, Insurance and Fleet processes, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a strong internal control environment. You’ll also act as the functional owner for key finance systems, including Pronto ERP, BWise, ADP Payroll, banking platforms and insurance tools, ensuring data integrity, robust processes and timely reporting. This role requires a proactive leader who can energise, develop and grow high-performance teams across multiple technical areas. Key Responsibilities Lead AR/AP, Payroll, Treasury, Banking and related transactional finance functions across ANZ. Oversee SOX compliance, internal controls, process documentation and audit support. Own key systems including Pronto (ERP), BWise, ADP Payroll and the ANZ banking platform. Support month-end close through accurate data, reconciliations and reporting. Drive continuous improvement, automation and KPI management across finance operations. Manage insurance portfolios, motor vehicle fleet processes and corporate compliance requirements. Partner with internal stakeholders including Internal Audit, External Auditors, HR, Sales and Operations. Lead, mentor and develop high-performance teams with robust succession planning. Required Education, Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Financial Controller within a complex, matrix environment (US parent preferred). CPA or CA qualified; MBA highly regarded. Strong people leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Deep knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, internal controls and transactional finance processes. Experience with FX hedging, taxation requirements and statutory reporting. Solid technical skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Pronto, Cognos, Phocas or HFM is an advantage.
