QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or CPA.
• 5-10 years of financial accounting.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience.
• 2-3 years Cost Accounting (MFG.) accounting.
• Budgets / Forecasting experience.
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation.
• Problem-solving and critical thinkingskills.

Desired:

• Payroll, A/P, and A/R working knowledge.
• Cash forecasting and monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office products.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the Controller position is to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Completing month-end and financial statement preparation. To assist in completing external and internal audits. To back up the Accounting Clerk position for payroll, A/P and A/R.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares journal entries for month-end closes.
• Prepares & Analyzes Monthly Financial Statements (P/L, B/S).
• Prepares Cash Flow forecast and status updates.
• Performs cash transfers for cash receipts.
• Completes monthly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Prepares Pricing Summary worksheets for new Quotes.
• Prepares schedules required for annual external audits.
• Physical Inventory control and reconciliation.
• Backup of hourly payroll, A/P and A/R positions.
